February 9, 2008 ~ Great Lakes All-Star Open ~ Grand Rapids, MI.

Sensei Jake and students Isaac Boyd and James McCready  all participated and took home trophies.  Great job team!

February 2-3, 2008 ~ Shotokan Seminar w/Sensei Edmond Otis, 7th Dan & Sensei Anthony DeSardi, 6^th Dan ~ Prospect, IL.

December 1, 2007 ~ Western Michigan Invitational Karate Tournament ~ Parchment High School, Parchment, MI.

Sensei Jake and students James McCready and Chris Posada participated in this tournament and all took home medals. Christopher Posada earned a 1st place, gold medal in 3-minute sparring, James McCready earned a 3rd place bronze medal competing in the Kata-forms division and a 1st place, gold medal in 3-minute sparring, and Sensei Jacob Mellinger earned a 2nd place, silver medal in 3-minute sparring and a 1st place, gold medal in Kumite continuous contact sparring.  Congratulations guys.  GREAT JOB!!!  To see pictures, please click here.
